As Of Counsel at AMC Defense Law, Michael brings extensive experience representing clients in state and federal courts across the United States, including appearances before numerous appellate courts. His appellate experience includes matters before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, in addition to extensive work before Florida's District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. This breadth of experience allows him to handle cases not only at trial, but through every stage of review when outcomes are challenged.
Michael's practice has included a wide range of serious criminal matters, including drug charges and drug conspiracy cases, fraud and economic crimes, violent offenses, weapons charges, DUI and traffic-related violations, and post-conviction relief. As Of Counsel, he is frequently called upon for difficult cases where the stakes are high and the legal issues are complex.
In addition to his domestic practice, Michael has significant international experience. He began his work in international matters representing the U.S. State Department and the Department of Justice in extradition cases, coordinating with foreign governments. He has also been retained by private clients in multiple countries, including Mexico, Canada, Spain, Colombia, the Bahamas, Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Germany, using professional translators to ensure clarity and effectiveness across legal systems.
